I spent Sunday morning with 2 fun sisters and their adorable kids. I knew it was going to be a great session when they started bringing out their own hats, headbands and a tutu. Talk about a photographer's dream session. Add to that the 2 sweet, outgoing boys and one very laid back baby girl and you have the makings of a great day. Toddlers can be one of the tougher age groups to work with, but I am always up for the challenge. Miss K came in for pictures today, and made it clear that she was in charge. I love the way she tried to hide her cute little smile from me. Patience and cheerios won her over though, and we ended up with some adorable shots.

I spent the morning with an adorable almost 3-month old. He wasn't too sure about the crazy people trying to get him to smile, but he put up with us long enough to get some cute shots before passing out in the present box. Thank you for picking me to do his pictures. I hope you enjoy them!

Ahh, brand new baby smell...nothing beats it. Ok, well maybe the sweet little squeaks and wrinkly toes rank right up there too. Add in 3 adorable older siblings, and you have how I spent my evening. Sweet baby K was very content and calm in between feedings, and overall made my job quite easy. Fran, you have a beautiful family, and any time you need a break, you are more than welcome to bring me the baby. :) I hope you enjoy your pictures!

Sneak Peek for Angie {Columbus, NE children's photographer}

This morning I packed up my studio equipment and headed over to meet up with my cousin and her family. Aren't her boys the cutest things ever? Those baby blues melt my heart! Here you go Ang, I hope you like them! I will have rest of your session done soon I'm sure. I can't help but keep going through them.

Mr. E-This boy is going to break some hearts. Not only is he handsome, he is very smart too.

Mr. L-With his sparkling baby blues and adorable grin, I don't think he will have any problems getting himself out of trouble.

I have had a bit of a break in between sessions lately. I used the opportunity to start working on my 2009 Holiday card designs. This first set is for a 5x7 double-sided card. Furry Friends {Columbus, NE Pet Photographer}

I spent Saturday afternoon at Paws & Claws Adoption Center voluteering my services for an upcoming fundraising campaign that they are doing. They were in need of some pictures for adoption flyers that they will be putting up, which means I was able to try my hand at pet photography. This was a new challenge for me, but something that I found very rewarding. If I had the space, more than one of these animals would be coming home with me. I was lucky enough to have this sweet baby girl come to me for a newborn session. She is 3 weeks old, and very strong and alert for such a tiny little girl. In between milk breaks, Miss Diva allowed me to try out some new props, and I am quite happy with the results. I think I am starting to get spoiled though, because I have the best clients in the world.
